NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – The Metro Nashville Law enforcement Section is investigating an evident murder-suicide that officers stated happened while the victim’s youngster was at household.
Officers responded to an apartment in the 2900 block of Infant Ruth Lane Friday afternoon to examine on Camara Harris’ welfare. Law enforcement claimed a spouse and children member noted she experienced not revealed up for a relatives gathering.
According to MNPD, Harris’ motor vehicle was parked outdoors and she was not answering her cell phone. When officers entered the condominium, they saw the 35-12 months-old motionless on the sofa and Anthony Davis, 41, was holding a handgun. Officers then began to back again out of the condominium and that’s when they read a gunshot.
Police went back again within the apartment and saw the couple’s 6-12 months-outdated daughter. She told them her mom was hurt.
Investigators learned it appeared Davis shot Harris just before killing himself with a gunshot wound to the head. Detectives recovered a handgun from Davis.
Metro police reported the couple’s kid was not bodily harmed and will be put with family members.
