Oakdale officer dragged just after having trapped among suspect’s driver doorway, vehicle

OAKDALE, Calif. (KTXL) — An Oakdale officer was dragged by a car or truck times soon after he arrived to look at experiences of a guy slumped more than in a driver’s seat.

Police say officers went to the Help save Mart on East F Road in close proximity to South Maag Avenue just immediately after 12 p.m. Friday. An officer approached the driver and “made make contact with with the male.”

The man, determined as 36-yr-outdated Christopher Milchen by police, then put the car in reverse, trapping the officer amongst the vehicle and the open driver’s doorway. He was dragged by the automobile, law enforcement explained, and was hospitalized with non-existence-threatening accidents.

Milchen obtained out of the auto in the vicinity of Sierra and Knox streets soon after it grew to become “disabled.” Police say he then ran away, and officers are still seeking for him.

The officer who was dragged is at the healthcare facility with accidents that are not existence-threatening
