New Jersey veteran gets new ‘smart home’ from 9/11 charity

A 9/11 charity still left a New Jersey veteran “completely speechless” when it gifted him a home Thursday. 

Maritime Sgt. Aaron Alonso stepped on an improvised explosive unit in Afghanistan in 2014, shedding his legs but beating the “sub-1%” chance he had of surviving at all. 

When he did get residence, lifetime was in no way likely to be the same.

The Tunnel to Towers Basis (T2T) observed in 2019 that it would start out making Alonso a new good house in the township of Hampton.
