LEBANON, Ore. — A hearth broke out in a Lebanon home early Tuesday early morning.

The lady observed flames coming from her bedroom and tried to place it out with a backyard hose. Officers states she then notified household members who lived down the road.

The resident’s uncle arrived and entered the dwelling through a bedroom window where he encountered hefty smoke with warmth and could see a fireplace in the vicinity of the wall. The loved ones member attempted to extinguish the blaze with a fireplace extinguisher and threw a burning mattress outdoors, by means of the window. The resident then referred to as 911.

When fire crews arrived to the one-relatives residence, they observed smoke coming from the front doorway. As soon as officers entered the home, they encountered light-weight smoke but the hearth was out, immediately after the resident’s family employed an extinguisher.
