Cougar jumps as a result of display door to get inside jap Washington residence

Cougar darted with tranquilizers soon after entering house in Ephrata, Wash.

A home-owner in jap Washington viewed in terror as a cougar jumped via his display door and entered his house Tuesday early morning. 

In accordance to Ephrata Police, the cougar was initially spotted on D Street leaping a fence into someone’s backyard. From there, the wild cat went north to F Road, exactly where a home owner was standing outside the house. 

Police say the cougar attempted to bounce by means of a shut window. When that failed, it went as a result of the man’s monitor doorway. 

The homeowner known as authorities and waited outside the house for a “prolonged period of time of time” until Section of Fish and Wildlife officers could get anyone licensed to sedate the cougar to the residence.

The cougar was ultimately darted in the kitchen area. The 150-pound cat will be unveiled into the wild. 

Wildlife officers load the tranquilized cougar into a truck to launch in the wild. 

Wildlife officers say cougar and bear sightings are not unheard of this time of year. 

Department of Fish and Wildlife biologist Chris Anderson stated most of the time all through encounters, people today have completed a thing to appeal to the animal closer such as leaving out garbage or meals.
