A 3-12 months-old boy has died after he fell out of a first-floor rear window of his family’s Union County dwelling and was attacked by the family’s pit bulls in the yard.
Crisis responders went to the Elizabeth residence shortly right before 5:30 p.m. Wednesday and uncovered the boy, who experienced suffered major injuries. In accordance to the Union County Prosecutor’s Workplace, he experienced fallen about 10 feet and was bitten by two canine.
The boy, whose identify was not produced, was taken to a healthcare facility but was pronounced useless there a brief time later on.
Neighbors explain to Information 12 New Jersey that they heard grown ups screaming and looked out the front door to see the boy being held by his mother and father as they waited for an ambulance and the law enforcement to get there.
Authorities claimed it’s not yet very clear what caused the boy’s demise.
The county health and fitness office has the two canine beneath quarantine and the town says that they may possibly be euthanized.
Authorities say that the parents are not still facing any prison expenses, but that the investigation stays active.
